I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, and contemplated not leaving one at all. We Had some initial trouble communicating with the renters before the trip. Took days to respond, said they had phone troubles, ok I understood. Then the day before the trip the trailer I had reserved was reportedly damaged and I got switched to a different trailer with less features (no outdoor kitchen, no outdoor shower, smaller holding tanks) and an almost full black tank. Trailer came with a fresh water hose and sewer hose laying in a compartment, nothing else. Battery had to be recharged every day and the weight distribution setup was not done correctly causing odd behavior with my truck. All that to say we did finally work out the kinks and completed the trip with no major issues. We were sad we couldn’t cook outside as it is more social to do so but brought a gas grill along and made due. After my other experiences with renting RV’s this one unfortunately was a letdown. At least we had a trailer to do the trip, as a last minute cancellation could have cancelled our entire trip.

Super easy to communicate with them! Easy pick up and easy drop off. The trailer was super clean and we made sure to return it the same way :)

Julie was the person I communicated with, and she was extremely accommodating and friendly! She had the trailer fully ready for us upon arrival. The process was smooth, and to top it off, we had a PERFECT weekend with it!
Drop off went super smooth as well, and we got our deposit back faster than ever. We highly recommend Excursion RV Rentals, and have recommended them to our family who use rentals as well. We look forward to working with them again some day!

The maintenance and cleanliness on these trailers could be better.

The water heater did not work on the first trailer they provided and the second trailer did not even have a vent cover on on the roof vent, so cold air came in all night!
These trailers were not well maintained and they were dirty.
